It’s time to start
For some time now, I have been writing bits and pieces of my thoughts that I have been feeling led to share. I have been hoping to get perfectly organised so I have the time and the space to write out properly, the things that I want to share But….
I realise now that I Just Need To Start!
Although this concept has been shared with me before, the reality of just starting made me question what I have to say and therefore I put it off; meaning I really never started! I was just looking at my website page and realised it has been a year since I first set out to start writing! So today is the day!!
No more procrastination, Now is the time for Action!!
I woke up this morning ready for the day to begin – praying and praising God. I opened up my bible app (YouVersion) and read the verse of the day it was psalms 9:1.
As this verse says I need to Praise him but also tell others of the amazing things that he has done.
I need to share all that he has done for me and how he has changed me/shaped me to become more like Christ.
So Listening to what God is telling me I got up and started writing!
This isn’t the first time I have been given this message. God has been chasing me, reminding me this is what he wants me to do.
I have found that the reality of being a Mum of 8, owing our own businesses and exercising every day have made it seem impossible to be able to write. The time that was set aside for writing went out the window when I started going to the gym at 5am, as I needed to come home and be A mum to my kids – making sure they have a great start to the day.
Granted…. this morning I don’t have the distractions of normal every day life but I’ll start with today and worry about tomorrow- Tomorrow!
Today I am waking up on the beautiful Gold Coast preparing for three Intense days of business development and learning with Wez Hone. https://businessgreenhouse.com.au/
Sitting in our comfy home away from home enjoying the view and having a quiet time, writing and enjoying the piece and quiet.
Even being hours away from life as I know it…I have had a few welcome distractions.
A few of my kids wanted to chat and there was some much needed questions about where things were; but it’s amazing how those distractions didn’t even feel like distractions and I have had the freedom to stop, soak in what God is telling me, ponder and write.
I am so grateful today for the amazing people in my world who have made this possible for me to come away. ……..My Awesome Mother and Father InLove/InLaw who are looking after our beautiful 8 kids and the variety of other amazing friends/teachers etc that shower our kids with Love and care everyday even when we are home.
Praising God is easy when you take the time to stop and look at all that he has done for you! What has he made possible for you today? What are you grateful for? What do you need to change in order to be able to recognise all that he has done for you?
Let’s ponder these questions together, journey together and look forward to seeing the fruit that comes from doing life together praising God!
Have a great day Friends!!
Sarah.
